After the "Lisbon Medical Cannabis 2018", the 2nd International Conference on Medicinal Cannabis in Portugal took place in Lisbon on 8 and 9 November and in Porto on 22 and 23 November, attended by over 400 people of 17 nationalities, of which 75 health professionals in the training sessions.

Portugal Medical Cannabis 2019 is an International Conference with training for health professionals, organized by OPCM - Portuguese Medicinal Cannabis Observatory - a non-profit association that aims to promote scientific research on the Cannabis Sativa plant for medicinal purposes and the benefits of it in patients.

The initiative was attended by several recognized international speakers and included exclusive training for Health Professionals (doctors, pharmacists, nurses, psychologists and researchers).

widepartner had the opportunity to interview Fernando Bandrés Calle, Volunteer at the Portuguese Medicinal Cannabis Observatory, who told us a little about the motivations and experiences of the OPCM regarding his scientific research and also the interview with Othon Guilherme D. - Co-founder Endopure, a life sciences company that produces and distributes cannabinoid-based medicines, that has just settled in the Portuguese market.
